Happy 2nd Anniversary to Me!
Kristina Leroux.com has made it another 12 months. Yay me! Considering some statistics show 95% of online businesses fail in the first year, that makes me like 30 in Internet years or something.
Again, I want to give a big THANK YOU to my clients! I have the privilege of working with some of the best and most fun people around!
I also have to thank my family and friends, of course. You are all awesome at encouraging me even though most of you still don’t know what I do!
Fun Facts from the last year:
- Closest Client: Niffer’s Place here in lovely Auburn, AL.
- Farthest Client: Kurt Steiner of CharityHowTo in Panama (as in the country in Central America not Panama City Beach).
- Facebook fans of pages I administrate: 12,067 (and counting)
Some big changes happened over the last 12 months. I had to stop taking on new clients, then I had to hire an assistant myself (yes, an assistant to the assistant), then I actually had to let go of a few clients in order to take a bigger role with my sister’s business.
As much as I hated giving up any part of Kristina Leroux.com, the opportunity was too good to pass up and I am excited about having more responsibility as the Community Engagement Manager of Nonprofit Marketing Guide.com.
And it’s working out nicely as I can better focus on the clients I retained and I get vacation days now. (Score!)
