So I am having a pretty crappy week from a technological stand point. My phone has developed these lovely black spots on the screen making it hard to read certain areas (and see the letters on Draw Something more importantly).
My internet has been spotty then finally straight up went out (I am currently tethered to [...]
I have been doing a lot of “how to” posts, mostly focused on social networking, over at our blog for Nonprofit Marketing Guide.com. As you may remember, I am now the community engagement manager over there so I have not been able to blog too much over here. So sad, I know.
Anyway, I thought my readers could [...]
I just read an article about a Virginia Judge who ruled that a sheriff had the right to fire an employee because that employee “liked” the sheriff’s political opponent’s Facebook page. In some states that would be a fireable offense, but Virginia law actually allows public employees to speak out on political matters because Virginia [...]
Kristina Leroux.com has made it another 12 months. Yay me! Considering some statistics show 95% of online businesses fail in the first year, that makes me like 30 in Internet years or something.

I should mention that this website [...]
Howdy, strangers! I have recently come to a startling conclusion: I have not gotten a single client because of my Facebook page or LinkedIn profile. Nor have I gotten a single client due to a tweet or blog post. Not a one. All of my clients have come from either referrals and introductions from my [...]
How was your summer? Mine was pretty darned good, but I learned something about me and blogging. Despite having trouble keeping a consistent blogging schedule in general, things get really bad in the summer. Most times of the year, I at least think, “Oh. I need to write a blog post soon,” even if I [...]
For my coaching clients out there (or anyone else who needs to offer an appointment schedule), I think this is a great addition to Google Calendar. Now you can schedule slotted appointment times and invite your clients to choose from those times you have made available. Here’s how to set it up:
1. Open your [...]
As most of my readers know, I love me some Google and especially Gmail. So here are the 5 tips I use most often:
1. If you’re like me, you have more than one Gmail account, but now Google will not let you open more than one at a time. Or so they think! If you [...]
