When I was a little girl, my mom tells me, my favorite phrase was “I know.” And while I don’t know as much as I thought I did back then, the hunger to learn as much as I can is still going strong.
Which makes being a virtual assistant a perfect fit! There is always something new to learn regarding web businesses and I get to do so many interesting things for my clients. (Yes, I do find analytics, proofreading and marketing fascinating.)
I believe personable and professional are not mutually exclusive.
Work Experience: Supervisor, Zookeeper and Virtual Assistant
Prior to beginning work as a virtual assistant and not counting the “Retail Years” of college, I was a supervisor in the mortgage industry for 5 years (yawn). I then took a few years off from Corporate America to start the Zoo. Eventually all my little zoo animals went to school on a daily basis and in March, 2009, I started doing VA work for my sister, Kivi Leroux Miller, President of Nonprofit Marketing Guide.com. I enjoyed what I did for her so much, I decided to branch out on my own to help others like her.
So here we are. I mostly work with those in the nonprofit industry or nonprofits themselves, but I work with clients from all backgrounds.
